Dear Professional Colleagues and Friends,

Hope you all are aware that SALIS has taken a mass initiative of conducting a Rally for promoting ‘Reading Habit’ at 7 places (Chennai, Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore, Erode, Tirunelveli and Pondichery) in Tamil Nadu on a same day i.e 15th Nov. 2014.

The initiative has been well accepted and supported by many professionals and well wishers as it is the need of the hour.

Puthiathalamurai TV Channel has joined with SALIS as this initiative is for social cause.

However SALIS requires support and cooperation from all the members of SALIS and LIS fraternity to make this initiative a successful one at the mega level. Hence an appeal to each and every one of you for the following:

1. Your Participation in the Rally

2. Resource mobilization – sponsorships in terms of money or materials like t-shirts/ caps with slogans, brochure, book mark, snacks, water bottles, books, etc. to the participants

3. Mobilization of participants – please bring more of your friends, likeminded people, school and college students, colleagues, family members, etc.

4. Contribute your thoughts – for slogan writing, brochure, book mark, and so on
