Walk-in Interview for Temporary Library Information Trainee in JRD Tata Memorial Library, IISc.
Dear All,
Few positions of Temporary Library Information Trainee (LIM)are to be filled at the JRD Tata Memorial Library, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru.
JRD Tata Memorial Library is looking for young, highly motivated and committed fresh Post-Graduates in Library & Information Science (like MLISc or its equivalent Degree) from recognized Indian universities to serve as LIM Trainees purely on a temporary basis for the period up to31st December, 2015.
Essential Qualifications: Master's in Library & Information Science (MLISc) or equivalent with First Class. (SC /ST candidates with Second Class may also be considered)
Nature of training / work : On the job training and required to work in all sections / units of the Library
Remuneration: Consolidated stipend of Rs.14,000/- per month.
Duration of temporary LIM trainee: up to 31st December, 2015.
Date and Venue for interview: 10:30AM 1st July, 2015, JRD Tata Memorial Library, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru- 560012

Selection of candidates will be based on their academic record & performance in personal walk-in-interview.
The selected candidates will have to work from Monday-Saturday (six days a week) and be ready to work in different shifts and holidays.

Selected Candidates are required to join immediately.
Interested candidates who meet the above mentioned qualifications / requirements may appear for a Walk-in-Interview on 1st July, 2015 at 10:30AM with all the originals of marks cards, caste certificates ( SC/ST , OBC in the approved format).
Only Candidates who have passed the Final year Exam and hold original Marks cards of the Final Degree can attend the walk-in interview.
Candidates who have appeared for their final year examination and are expecting the results need not appear for the Walk-in Interview.
