Job Title: Jaswant S Kanwar Library Intern
Location: ICRISAT, Patancheru, Andhra Pradesh
Number of vacancies- 2
Eligibility Criteria: - Post Graduate in Library and Info Science [only freshers]
Soft skills required:
- Good communication skills.
- Take initiatives and result oriented.
- Systematic, logical and hardworking.
- Able to interact with different kinds of clients.
Training Tasks:
Interns would be involved in the following training activities:
1. Get training and hands-on experience on KOHA [Library Open Source Software].
2. Training on Open Access Repositories , http://oar.icrisat.org and http://eprints.icrisat.ac.in
3. Training on Data Librarianship.
4. Journal Subscription and subscribed e-journals link checking.
5. Organizing and maintaining library collections through various technical and administrative functions.
6. Emphasis will be given on Information services.
7. Circulation activities.
Nature of position- Internship period will be strictly for one year [No further extension]
