Qualifications: 

1. Assistant Librarian (9300 - 34800 + 4200)  

(i) Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/Information Science or an equivalent professional 

degree with 2 / 3 years experience in library of college / institute. 

OR 

Master Degree in Library Science/Information Science or an equivalent professional 

degree with 6 years experience in library of college / institute. 

(ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications

2. Catalogue-cum-Classifier(5200 - 20200 + 2400)  

(i) M.Lib. course in Library Science from recognized Board / University with 2 years experience. 

OR 

B.Lib. course in Library Science from recognized Board / University with 5 years experience. 

(ii) Knowledge of Computer Application

3 Issue Assistant Book  (5200 -20200 +1900) 

(i) Graduate in any discipline  

(ii) Certificate/Diploma in Library Science from recognized Board/University. 

4. Book Lifter / Attendant (4750 -7440 +1400) 

(i) Secondary from a recognized Board or its equivalent examination.  

(ii) 2 years working experience in Library.
