Call for papers:

Full articles and research papers (with abstracts) on the above mentioned theme and sub-themes for the XXIX IATLIS* *National Conference should reach to Dr. H. P. S. Kalra, General Secretary, IATLIS, Department of Library & Information Science, Punjabi University, Patiala ? 147002 (Punjab) as a hard copy and also as an email attachment latest by *21 December 2012*. The paper should not be more than 3000 words. Please send your paper both in print and electronic form on a CD in Microsoft Word and also a soft copy through email to iatlis2012@gmail.com. The paper should include Title, Name and Address of author(s), Abstract and Key Words. References at the end of the paper and their in-text citing should be according to APA Style manual.

The registration fee covers conference kit, proceedings of the conference (upon post- publication), and working lunch, dinner and breakfast and session tea for the days of the conference. The registration fee does not include accommodation charges. Papers presented at the conference will be published in the post-conference volume and would be sent to the registered delegates later on. Delegates are requested to include registration fees for accompanying persons while forwarding their registration forms since it would not be possible to entertain last minute request in view of shortage of accommodation. Accompanying persons shall not be entitled for conference kits. Delegates are requested to intimate their travel plan in advance to avoid inconvenience. The Demand Draft for registration fee should be in favour of IATLIS payable at Patiala, and should be sent along with duly filled Registration Form latest by 21 December 2012 to:

Accommodation: Accommodations in ISI guest house are very limited and will be arranged by the local Organizing Secretary ONLY on first-come-first served basis for those participants who send prior information for it in the registration form. Charges for accommodation are to be borne by the participants as per actuals. Bangalore is host to several hotels and hostels catering to all budgets. Delegates can also make their booking on their own.
