WALK-IN-INTERVIEW at NATIONAL ACADEMY OF AGRICULTURE RESEARCH MANAGEMENT, HYDERABAD 

Walk-in-interview will be held on 21-08-2013, at 10.00 a.m. at this Institute for engagement

of the following manpower to work on contractual basis in the time-bound project,

“Strengthening of Digital Library and Information Management under NARS

(e-GRANTH)”, under Component-1 of National Agricultural Innovation Project (NAIP), being run

at the Academy, on a consolidated monthly remuneration. The duration of contractual

engagement of the manpower is co-terminus with the project :

Upto March 31, 2014 or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.

1) SRF (A):

Essential: Masters’ Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation with 1st

Division or 60% marks or equivalent grade points average from a recognized University.

2) SRF (B):

Essential: Masters’ Degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications with 1st

Division or 60% marks or equivalent grade points average from a recognized University.

2) Desirable Qualifications : For SRF: A & B :

Work experience in digitization and computerization of libraries, especially with

library management software(s) and digital library software. Relevant open standards and protocols and/or in any international standards in machine readable catalogue, i.e., MARC, Resource sharing protocol like Z39.50 etc.

UPPER AGE LIMIT : Men : 35 years & Women : 40 years as on the date of the walk-in-interview.

(relaxable to SC/ST/OBC & PH as per Government of India rules).

The candidates fulfilling the above criteria may appear for the walk-in-interview

along with their resume/CV and original certificates, including experience certificates,

if any, with a set of photocopies of the same. Candidates reporting after 10.00 a.m. will

not be considered for the walk-in-interview. The above position is purely temporary

and co-terminus with the project. The selected candidates will have to join

immediately and NO TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
