A Two Day National Workshop Librarian Development Programme (LDP)

Dear Fellow Professionals,


Management Libraries Network (MANLIBNET)in association with MES's IMCC, Pune Oraganises A Two Day National Workshop Librarian Development Programme (LDP) : "OPEN ACCESS :APPLICATION IN THE LIBRARIES" on 13-14 June 2014.


This workshop is intended to equip participants with skills for developing their own digital libraries / Institutional Repositories. There will be lectures as well as intensive hands-on training sessions by experts in the field. Thus, it will provide theoretical base and practical skill to the participants.

The purpose of the workshop is to develop an expertise among participants by providing a thorough training and hands-on experience on an open source library software KOHA and D-Space,an open source software package typically used for automating the library functions and creating open access repositories for scholarly and/or published digital content. Participants will get a golden opportunity to interact with eminent resource persons from IIM as well as University background.

We count on your support for a successful LDP.You are requested to contribute to the profession by actively participating in the workshop.
