The contest is open to librarians, scholar and students of library and information sciences from India. Selected entries in each category will be awarded and the winning photos will form a part of our 2015 calendar.
ELIGIBILITY:
The entrant has to be a librarian, scholar or students of library and information sciences. He/She has to be a resident of India.
CONTEST PERIOD:
The contest begins on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 and ends on Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Entries received after the end of the deadline will not be accepted for the contest.
HOW TO ENTER:

• This contest is sponsored by Emerald Group Publishing (India) Private Limited.
• There is no limit on the number of categories you can participate in.
• There is no limit on the entries per category.
• All entries will be judged on creativity, originality and visual appeal of the photos.
• Entries must be received during the contest period in order to be eligible.
• Photographs must be in digital format. All files must be in JPEG or .jpg format.
• Photographs must have been taken on or after August 12, 2014
• Photographs that include sculptures, statues, paintings, and other works of art, private property, and/or persons will be accepted provided that entrants provide a release form from the holder of rights in any such works of art, property, and/or individual persons if requested by the Sponsor. When photographing the work of others, it must be as an object in its environment and not a full-frame close up of another person's art. Failure to provide such releases upon request will result in disqualification.
• The sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, illegible, or misdirected entries. The sponsor's decisions are final on all matters relating to this contest. If a dispute results as to the identity of an online entrant, it will be deemed that the online entry was submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address from which the entry is made.
• Judging of the contest will be done by a panel of experts selected by the sponsor.
• Winners will be chosen on or before September 5, 2014 and will be notified by e-mail.
• Judges' decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this contest.
• COPYRIGHT: All entries submitted to the contest must be original. The entrant must be the sole owner of any copyright and all other intellectual property rights in and to any entry submitted. Submission of each entry is an acknowledgement, warranty and guarantee that the entrant is the creator and/ or sole owner of copyright(s) and other intellectual property rights in and to the entry submitted. By submitting an entry, the entrant also represent and warrant that the entry does not infringe on the copyright, right of publicity, privacy rights or any other intellectual property or other right of any other persons or entity, that the entrant has secured any and all waivers and permissions necessary with respect to persons and subject matter in the entry and that the entrant has not submitted the entry to any other contest. The entrant shall retain the copyright to any entry and all other rights thereto EXCEPT: by entering the contest, the entrant agrees to have the submitted entry displayed by sponsor on sponsor's Website and social media accounts without any fee or other form of compensation.
