Professional Excellence in Library Services Award

Dear Moderator,

Please circulate this for the benefit of the LIS community:

Announcing the Professional Excellence in Library Services Award
Taylor & Francis would like to present a dedicated librarian with an award for Professional Excellence in Library Services

Taylor & Francis welcome nominations recognising the efforts of a particularly talented librarian who has made an invaluable contribution to their library through their innovation and enthusiasm. Simply tell us in no more than 300 enthusiastic words the reason for your nomination including length of service of the nominee and any case studies and examples demonstrating their professional excellence in library services that support your nomination.
Perhaps they have:

*      revolutionized your cataloguing system

*      introduced a social media policy

*      overseen the building of a new library

*      or supported students beyond expectations in their studies?

We hope this award will serve to recognise the contribution librarians make to academia and their institution in providing professional excellence.

The nominations should include: Your name as a nominator, affiliated university, contact email address and number AND the name of the nominee, affiliated university, contact email address and number. Please send in your nominations by 30 September 2014.

*      The decision of Taylor & Francis is final and will be based on overall contribution to promoting library excellence.
