Essential & Desirable Qualifications for Appointment of teaching Faculty at ICT
Essential Qualifications and experience 1. Bachelor’s degree in Science / Technology; Master’s degree in Library science / Information Science / Documentation or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55 % marks or equivalent CGPA of a recognized institute/ university. 2.Experience of working for five years as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian and evidence of innovative library services, organization of published work and professional commitment, computerization of library. Desirable Qualifications and Experience M.Phil / Ph.D. degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation / Archives, and Experience in Manuscript-Keeping, experience in computerization of library.
