Objectives
The Workshop will be of immense benefit to LIS professionals working in any type of library. The number of participants is restricted to 20 and admission will be strictly on a first-come-first-served basis. Extensive practical sessions/hands-on-training, enriched with interactive sessions will be the hallmark of the Workshop.

Workshop Faculty
The Workshop will be handled by person with extensive practical experience in Linux and Koha.
Registration Fee
General Candidate: Rs. 1000.00 including VAT
Deputed Candidate: Rs. 2000.00 including VAT
The fee covers the cost of workshop kit, course materials, lunch and tea.
Mode of Payment
The fee should be paid in the form of Demand Draft or local Cheque drawn in favour of Indian Statistical Institute, and payable at Kolkata.

- To introduce the Linux operating system to the participants.
- To acquaint the participants with the installation of Koha on PC
- To provide extensive hands-on-training to the participants so as to enable them to work independently
