VACANCY CIRCULAR
The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), an Autonomous Body, set up under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has invited applications for filling up the following post:
Name of Post: Senior Library & Information Assistant
Number of Post: 02 (Two)
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month
Essential Qualifications:-
(i) Master’s Degree in any discipline preferably in Science of a recognized University/Institution.
(ii) Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science of a recognized University/Institution.
(iii) Minimum 03 years professional experience in reputed library/Institution.
Desirable Qualification:-
Diploma/Degree in computer application of a recognized University/ Institution.
Nature of duties:-
To assist the work related to Maintenance of library and Information Centre/ Circulation/Data Entry/ Acquisition/Journals’/Technical Processing/Secretarial Work Compilation of CAS/SDI/ Reference Service, technical writing, etc. and related correspondence thereto and any other work assigned from time to time by the concerned officer.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Application giving particulars as per prescribed format with a passport size photograph on the application at the space indicated with self-attested copies of certificates should be sent to the Secretary-cum-Scientific Director, Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Sector 23, Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad-201002. The envelope containing the application should be super scribed “Application for the post of “________________”.
