QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL :
1. Master's degree in library science/information science / documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record; 2. At least
thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a university library or eighteen years' experience as a College Librarian.3. Evidence of innovative library service and organisation of published work.
DESIRABLE :
M.Phil. /Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/Information Science /documentation/ Archives and manuscript-keeping.
(b) Documentation Officer, Dept of History (1) Pay Band Rs.15600 - 39100 GP Rs. 5400 Plus allowances
QUALIFICATION-ESSENTIAL : Atleast Second Class M.A in History and B.Lib Science. Five years
experience in a recognised Library Preferably dealing with History Books or Two years experience in
documentation in a specialized or reserch Library. Knowldge of Persian .
