VACANCY OF LIBRARIAN AT IIM INDORE

Senior Administrative Positions at IIM Indore
1.

General Information / Conditions for all Positions
1.
All positions will remain open till filled. After due date, application received will be reviewed once a month against positions not filled.
2.
Candidates are advised to visit the website regularly for updates.
3.
The Institute reserves the right not to fill up any / all position(s) / select any candidate without assigning any reason.
4.
Employees working in Central / State Government organizations or PSUs / Autonomous bodies may apply on deputation basis.
5.
Retired employees from Central / State Government organizations or PSUs / Autonomous bodies may also apply.
6.
Salary at the minimum of the pay band Rs 37400 – Rs 67000 (Pay Band-4) with Grade Pay Rs 10000 for all the above three positions is Rs 104512 per month.
7.
Salary is negotiable. The scales are indicative. IIM Indore would be happy to consider an appropriate salary (either lower or higher than the scale mentioned) for the deserving candidate.
8.
Mere fulfilling of the minimum qualifications and experience will not confer any right to the candidates for being called for interview or/and for his/her selection.
9.
The Institute will communicate only with short-listed candidates.
10.
No correspondence will be entertained during the process.
11.
Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
12.
The Institute requires the selected candidates to join immediately.
13.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
14.
The candidates are required to apply online for which appropriate link has been provided. Applications will not be accepted in any other manner.
15.
Incomplete applications will be rejected summarily.
16.
Last date for receiving applications duly filled in all respects with scanned copies of all documents in support of details given in the application is 06 March 2013.

Candidates (other than SC / ST / OBCs) are required to remit non - refundable application fees of Rs 1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) per application. Candidates are required to submit account payee Demand Draft (DD) in favour of “INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT INDORE” payable at INDORE. Candidates should mention their particulars (Name, address and position applied for) on the reverse of the DD and post/courier the same to “Personnel Officer IIM Indore, Prabandh Shikhar, Rau - Pithampur Road, Indore 453556 (M.P)”, so as to reach by 13 March 2013. Application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore requested to verify their eligibility before paying the application fee.

VACANCY OF ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN AND LIBRARY PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANT AT IIM INDORE

Post- Assistant Librarian [1 Post (UR)]
Job Profile
• Responsible to assist the librarian in extending both library services as well as modern information services.
Qualification
• Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree from a recognized University/Institute.
Experience
• 5 years of relevant experience.
Scale of Pay
• Rs.15,600-39,100, Grade Pay Rs.5,400/- in PB – 3.

Post- Library Professional Assistant  [2 Post (UR)]
Job Profile
• Responsible for supervising all library services and also handle technical and user
related matters.
Qualification
• Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science Documentation from a recognized University/Institute or an equivalent professional degree and sound knowledge of IT.

Experience
• 2 years of relevant experience.
Scale of Pay
• Rs.9,300-34,800, Grade Pay Rs.4,200/- in PB – 2.

Candidates (other than SC/ST/OBCs) are required to remit non-refundable application fees of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) per application. Candidates are required to submit account payee Demand Draft (DD) in favour of “INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT INDORE” payable at INDORE.
