JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) has been set up under Rajasthan Private Universities Act by "Lakshmipat Singhania Foundation for Higher Learning" an SPV set up by the well-established Lakshmipat Singhania Education Foundation. Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is heart of the University and acts as a centre for the collection of literature predominantly related to Management, Engineering and its allied subjects and develops a comprehensive collection of information that is useful for teaching, research and reference purposes. It is managed by the KOHA software integrated with ERP system of the University.
Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is looking for following library professionals.
Sr. Library and Information Assistant (1 Post)
(Pay Scale 9300 – 34800; GP 4200; Pay Band: PB-2)
Essential Qualifications:
- First-class Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science with recognized university
- Minimum Four years post qualification experience in a reputed academic library.
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of KOHA Library Management Software.
- Well versed with automated / digital LIS environment and hands on experience in providing LIS services using modern technological tools.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi (written and oral)
- Strong interpersonal skills.
The selected candidate should be ready to work in shift-duties/ rotating weekly-off.
