NOTIFICATION
Interview will be held on March 1, 2013 at 3.00 p.m. in the Chairman’s Room of the Institute for the following positions on contract basis for a period of three months. The candidates must report sharp at 2.30 p.m. in Central Office:
1. a). Name of Post : Professional Assistant
b). Nos. of Post : 1 (one)
c). Salary : Rs.30,000/- per month (consolidated)
d). Essential Qualifications : 1. M.Lib.Sc./MLISc. or equivalent with 50% marks. OR Master’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or any other discipline with 50% and B.Lib.Sc./B.L.I.Sc. with 50% marks.
2. a). Name of Post : Semi-Professional Assistant
b). Nos. of Post : 1(One)
c). Salary : Rs.24,000/- per month (consolidated)
d). Essential Qualifications :
Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce or any other discipline or any other higher qualification with 50% marks.B.Lib.Sc./B.L.I.Sc. with 50% marks.Course in computer application at Graduate or PG Level or six months computer course from a recognized institution.
f). Age: Between 18 – 35 Years on last date of receipt of application.
The Institute reserves the right not to fill up the above positions, if circumstances so warrant. The decision of Director, IEG will be final in this regard. Other things being equal, SC/ST/OBC candidates will be preferred.
