Vikram Sarabhai Library at IIMA requires Library Professional Assistant to work in any of the following domains.
1. User orientation
2. User Awareness and other promotional services
3. Reference and circulation services
4. Finance & Accounts
5. Print books, e-Books, and periodicals acquisition and online procurement
6. Library Technology
Qualification, Experience & Skill Requirements:
A Master degree in Library & Information Science (MLISc) (60% or above) with a minimum of two years’ relevant experience.
Age: Min. 25 years and Max. 35 years. (Government of India instructions on the reservation will be followed)
Salary & Allowances:
Selected candidates will be offered a fixed term appointment for a period of three years on a consolidated monthly salary. After completion of the fixed term period, candidates may be considered for permanent absorption in the Level 6 depending on the requirement of the institute, their performance and competence.
