Sad demise of Hiran Kumar Dutta

Sri Hiran Kumar Dutta, Former Vice President, IASLIC has breathed his last at 8:35 am on Friday, 24th January, 2014 after a prolonged sufferings. As a library professional he was associated with the DCPL, Kolkata. He has land mark through his hardworking for professional endeavor.  He was very much kind hearted towards his colleagues. He was the inspiration for many professionals. His advice has helped us in development of the Association. On recognition of his contribution IASLIC felicitated him on 3rd September 2011.  His sad demise is a great loss to the profession and to the IASLIC.  Let his bereaved family get enough courage and strength to bear this loss.

1. The appointment is purely temporary and contractual for three (3) months only.

2. The job for which these Trainees will be appointed is extremely data-intensive. Hence only hardworking and confident individuals should apply.

3. Desirable qualification is M.Lib.Sc. However individuals with B.Lib.Sc and proven record of experience of data-intensive jobs will also be considered.
