Applications are invited FOR IMMEDIATE ENGAGEMENT OF POST GRADUATE TRAINEE FOR CSIR KNOWLEDGE RESOURCE CENTRES FOR INHOUSE PROJECTS FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR, purely on temporary basis only -- from those who fulfill the conditions of Qualifications/Age, etc as follows :-
Qualifications: Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) with First Class or its equivalent
Job Description
To assist Scientists/Technical Officer in the Concerned Project Activities and any other related works assigned by them.
Consolidated Stipend Rs. 10,000 /- per month
Age should not exceed 28 years as on the date of interview (relaxable in the case SC/ST/OBC/Women as per GOI instructions.)
Reservation: As regards reservation, all things being equal, SC/ST/OBC candidates may be given adequate representation so as to ensure their participation.
Interested candidates are requested to bring their applications as per Annexure along with recent passport size photo enclosing attested copies of certificates and testimonials and walk-in for Interview on 18th December 2013 between 09.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m. at this Centre.
No separate call letter will be sent for interview. No TA/DA will be paid. Candidates reporting later than 11 a.m.will not be considered.

Instructions:
Candidates must bring the Original Certificates in respect of age/educational qualification etc. at the time of Walk-in-Interview Only those candidates who possessed the above qualifications with I Class will be permitted to attend Walk-in-Interview.
(iii) Degree Certificate / Provisional certificate for degree holders as
per the branch and specialization indicated above is essential.
(iv) Candidates must bring technical reports/project
reports etc. which was a requirement for the award of Degree at the time of interview.

Kailash Temple/CLRI/Regional Labour Institute Bus Stop and located on the CSIR Road,
Taramani.
[2] The CSIR campus can be reached by the following Bus Route Nos.
(i) 5 / 5C/ M5C from Parrys/Madras Central Railway Station (Get down at CSIR bus stop)
(ii) 5T from Vadapalani/T.Nagar Bus Terminus/Saidapet (Get down at CSIR bus stop) and
(iii) 23C from Egmore Railway Station (upto Adyar Madhya Kailash Temple /Canal Bus Stop)
(iv) M70/M70T/70K from Koyembedu Bus Terminus to Thiruvanmiyur (Get down at Tidel Park)
[3] MRTS Train Route: Get down at Thiruvanmiyur Station in the ``Chennai Beach -Velacherry Route``.
