APPOINTMENT NOTIFICATION
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the appointment to the following Teaching posts in the Teaching Departments of Kannur University, as per the provision of the Kannur University Act/ Statutes/ UGC Regulation/Rules & Regulations of Government of Kerala. OC-Open Competition LC-Latin Catholic, SC-Scheduled Caste M-Muslim, AI- Anglo Indian. Qualifications:- As per UGC norms. Age: As on 01/01/2016 Associate Professor: Between 35 and 45 years Usual relaxation in Upper age will be given to candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and other categories, as per Government rules. Relaxation of Marks A relaxation of 5% marks will be provided at the Masters level for the SC/ST/Differently abled (Physically & Visually differently abled) categories. The 5% relaxation to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks, without including any Grace marks. How to apply: The details of the teaching posts are available in the website of Kannur University (www.kannuruniversity.ac.in).Prescribed Application form can be downloaded from the Kannur University website and the filled in application, complete in all respects, should reach to the Registrar, Kannur University.
2 Original Chalan receipt for ` 1000/-(Rupees thousand only) as registration fee (for SC/ST: ` 500/-(Rupees Five Hundred Only)) remitted in Kannur University fund should be attached along with the application. Head of account of remittance: In Treasuries: 8658-00-102-96(27) KUS. Payments can be made through Pay-in-Slip from the branches of SBT also.
Applicants residing outside Kerala State may send DD in favour of the Finance Officer, Kannur University, payable at State Bank of Travancore, Kannur University Thavakkara Branch, Kannur.
The G.O. (P) no. 135/2014/Fin dated 08-04-2014 (National Pension System) & G.O. (P) no. 211/2005/Fin dated 11-05-2005 (Protection of Pay) will be applicable to the appointments.
Submission of application: The filled in application with attested copies of the certificates proving age, qualifications, community, Non-Creamy layer Certificate, teaching experience/research experience, experience of guiding research at doctoral level, Ph.Ds produced, published works/papers, attendance in seminars, etc., along with the original Chalan receipt/DD should be sent to the Registrar, Kannur University, Thavakkara, Civil Station (P.O), Kannur-2, Pin- 670002.

लेखक अपनी किताब गूगल बुक्स पर प्रकाशित होने के लिए भी दे सकते हैं
गूगल पर अब आप कोई भी किताब ढूंढ सकते हैं. करीब दस साल की कानूनी लड़ाई के बाद, गूगल को कुछ हफ्ते पहले ऐसा करने की इजाज़त मिल गयी है.
अब उम्मीद है कि गूगल का लाइब्रेरी प्रोजेक्ट, जो किताबों को स्कैन कर ऑनलाइन लाने की कोशिश कर रहा है वह अब आगे बढ़ेगा.

अदालत के इस फैसले के बाद किसी भी किताब में सब कुछ लिखा हुआ अब गूगल पर सर्च किया जा सकेगा.
लेकिन इसके लिए किताब को कॉपीराइट के समय के बाद का होना चाहिए. और अगर ऐसा हुआ तो आप ये सभी किताबें अपने स्मार्टफोन पर पढ़ सकते हैं. किताब छापने वाले पब्लिशर कभी कभी गूगल को एक छोटे से हिस्से को ऑनलाइन दिखाने की भी इजाज़त दे देते हैं.
कई सालों से गूगल ने किताबों को स्कैन करने का बीड़ा उठाया है.
गूगल बुक्स किताबों के अलग अलग हिस्सों को लोगों को ऑनलाइन देखने की इजाज़त देता है. अगर देखने वालों को ये पसंद आया तो गूगल उन्हें किताब खरीदने में भी मदद करता है.
दस साल पहले, लेखकों के एक समूह ने गूगल के ऑनलाइन किताब को दिखाने की कोशिश को रोकने की कोशिश की.
चूंकि कॉपीराइट इन लेखकों का था, उनका कहना था कि गूगल ऐसा नहीं कर सकता है. सालों की जद्दोजहद के बाद अब अदालतों ने गूगल की बात मान ली है.

इस आदेश के बाद अब लोग ऐसी किताबों को ऑनलाइन पढ़ सकेंगे जो अब तक उनकी पहुंच से बाहर थी.
अगर आप चाहें तो अपनी किताब को भी गूगल बुक्स पर शामिल करवा सकते हैं.
लेखक अपनी किताब का पीडीएफ वर्जन गूगल को भेज कर अपनी किताब इसमें शामिल करने की गुज़ारिश कर सकता है.
गूगल लेखकों के साथ उस किताब पढ़ने वालों या जानकारी चाहने वालों के बारे में जानकारी शेयर करता है.
