Applications are invited for the posts of Junior Assistants (four), Semi-Professional (one) and Overseer-cum-Caretaker (one) at the Institute of Economic Growth as per details given below: 

Semi-Professional Assistant (against leave vacancy upto 14.1.2015)
Scale of Pay of Rs. PB:1 Rs.5200-20200 GP.2800

Essential Qualifications: 
(i) Graduate with minimum 50% marks Or Masters with minimum 50% marks. 
(ii) B.Lib.Sc./ B.LI.Sc with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university. 
(iii) Six months course in Computer Applications. 

Desirable Qualifications: 
Social Sciences background, with work experience of computerization, Library software, 
digitization, E-resources, E-databases etc. 
Age: 32 years on the date of publishing the advertisement. Other things being equal, 
SC/ST/OBC candidates will be preferred. Age relaxation as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Educational Qualifications:

Librarian -> Matriculation plus Certificate for Library Training from recognized institution.

Library Information Assistant -> Degree from a recognised University or equivalent. Degree in Library Science (B.Lib.) from a recognized University or equivalent.

Selection Process: Single Stage Written Examination followed by Skill Test / Interview and Documents Verification. Written Examination will be held on the same day by all participating RRBs.

Examination Fee: A non-Refundable fee of Rs.100/- for all categories. The Fee should be paid in the form of a crossed Demand Draft (drawn at the main branch ofany of the Nationalized Banks), valid for a period of three months or in the form of Crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of 'ASSISTANT SECRETARY OR SECRETARY OR MEMBER SECRETARY OR CHAIRMAN OF RAILWAY RECRUITMENT BOARD," of concerned RRB. No fee for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PWD/Women/Minorities and Economically Backward Classes having annual family income less than Rs.50,000/- Candidates.

How To Apply: Candidates can apply for a particular post to any one of RRB only. The application (prescribed format) complete in all respect, can be sent by ORDINARY POST to the Railway Recruitment Board concerned upto 10/11/2014 (till 17.30 Hrs). For candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahoul & Spiti districts and Pangi sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshwadeep islands and for candidates residing abroad, the closing date for receipt of applications by ORDINARY POST will be 25.11.2014 upto 17.30 hours. The envelope containing the application duly filled should be clearly super-scribed "Application for the Post of____CEN NO.____Category No.____ & Community(SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-SM)" and should be sent to the respective RRBs through Ordinary Post.
