Convention on Automation of Libraries in Education and Research Institutions (CALIBER) is an annual convention, organised by INFLIBNET Centre in collaboration with different Universities. CALIBER 2015 is 10th International CALIBER which will be held at HP University  and IIAS Shimla during 1214 March 2015. The theme of the 10th International CALIBER is " Innovative Librarianship: Adapting to Digital Realities.

The India Institute of Advanced Study Shimla was originally built as a home for Lord Dufferin <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood,_1st_Marquess_of_Dufferin_and_Ava> , Viceroy of India <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Governor-General_of_India> from 1884?1888 and was called the Viceregal Lodge <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rashtrapati_Niwas>. It housed all the subsequent viceroys and governors general of India. It was summer capital of British rule in India. It occupied Observatory Hill, one of the seven hills that Shimla is built upon. The ambiance is royal and extravagant. The building was designed by Henry Irwin <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Irwin>, an architect in the Public Works Department. The Viceregal Lodge had electricity as early as 1888, much before the rest of the town of Shimla. The building also was equipped with a sophisticated firefighting mechanism through wax-tipped water ducts.
