Informatics Endowment Lecture on Digital Libraries

Sub:  Endowment Lecture at MyDLIS
 

We are happy to inform and invite you to the Twelfth Informatics Endowment Lecture on Digital Libraries organized by the Department of Studies in Library and Information Science (MyDLIS) on April 11, 2015 at 4.00 PM at International School of Information Management (ISiM), Manasagangotri, Mysuru.  Dr. John Dove, Information Consultant, USA will deliver the endowment lecture on ?User-centered Design of Online Library Products &
Services?.  Sri N.V. Sathyanarayana, Chariman and Managing Director, Informatics India Ltd., Bangalore will grace the occasion by his presence. 

The event will be presided over by Prof. K.S. Rangappa, Vice -Chancellor, University of Mysore, Mysuru.


The present lecture is the twelfth one in the digital library endowment  series.  Since 2001, eminent scholars have delivered the lectures.
Speakers of the past lectures are Prof. S. Sadagopan, Prof. N. Balakrishnan, Prof. Jayanth R Haritsa, Dr. P. Ananda, Prof. Vijay V. Raghavan, Dr. Chintan Mehta, Prof. Srinvas Ramani, Sri Ragahvendra U. Udupa, Dr. N.R. Srinivasa Ragahavan, Dr. Douglas W. Oard, and Dr. Shailesh Kumar.  The endowment lecture series was instituted by Informatics India Ltd, Bangalore is one of the coveted events organized by MyDLIS almost every year.  The lecture has attracted in the past, computer science students & teachers, techno-savvy citizens of Mysore, LIS professionals and others.
