Two Day National Workshop on Open Source Library Management Software
Dear Library Professionals,
The Kerala Agricultural University, in collaboration with the Academic Library Association (ALA) & Kerala Library Association (KLA) is organising a Two Day National Workshop on Open Source Library Management Software KOHA at its Central Library in Main Campus, Vellanikkara, Thrissur during 29-30 May 2015 for library professionals. 40 persons will be admitted to the workshop.
The workshop timings will be 9.am to 5.pm.
No Registration fee
Expense towards Working Lunch & workshop kit, Rs 400/- should be paid by the participants. Accommodation and travel expenses also should be borne by them. Subsidized accommodation can be provided at University Guest House and hostel subject to the availability.

Five days advance training programme on Bibliometrics and Research Output
Respected Members,
After successfully completed two training programme, INFLIBNET is organizing five days advanced level training programme on Bibliometrics and Research Output Analysis during 15th June to 20th June 2015. The programme will give the participants sound overview of bibliometric methods, data sources, data processing, performance indicators and tools & techniques related to bibliometric analysis and mapping. It will provide awareness about the most commonly used data base, how to build -up relevant indicators and how to interpret the data. Special emphasis will be given to indicators used in research evaluation.
Resource Persons
The lecturers are prominent researchers, scientists/professors in the field of bibliometrics. They also have an extensive experience with the application of bibliometric analysis in a research evaluation.

The Training programme will be conducted at Information and Library Network Centre, An IUC of University Grants Commission, Infocity, Gandhinagar-382007, Gujarat, India
Fee
The registration fee is Rs. 5000.00 (Rupees five thousand five hundred only) per person without accommodation and Rs. 7,000.00 with accommodation (six days five nights).

Pay Rs.16000.00 (Rupees Sixteen thousand only) per month (consolidated).
Tenure of appointment: The appointment is upto 31 March 2016 which may be
extended later /terminated earlier depending on availability of funds &
