Library Trainees under the Apprenticeship Training Scheme (Last Date: 5th September 2016 )

Eligibility

• Applicable to Indian citizen only

• Training is open to students from recognised institutions and Universities with exposure to Library.

• Candidates who have been passing out in the last two year are eligible to apply for trainee.

• Students with a placement in hand not eligible

Essential Educational Qualification

• Master degree in Library and Information Science with 50% marks.

• Knowledge of computer

Scheme of Training

• The training period is normally for six months only. The brief introduction will be given to the trainees on joining day.

Honorarium

• An amount of Rs. 11000/- per month will be given as honorarium during the training.

E-Content 2016 (National Seminar Series by Informatics)

Informatics is pleased to announce the dates and locations of E-Content 2016, its annual National Seminar Series. Theme for this year's event is "Library Services & Management - A Platform Approach". These day-long seminars will have keynote speeches and panel debates on the theme.

E-Content 2016 will be held at the following cities this year:

1. Hyderabad - Monday, September 26, 2016

2. Ahmedabad - Tuesday, September 27, 2016

3. Bhubaneswar - Wednesday, September 28, 2016

4. Chandigarh - Friday, September 30, 2016
