Library Trainee Vacancy in IIT Delhi
The Central Library, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, is RFID based automated library. It has wide variety of printed and electronic collections catering the needs of all stakeholders. The library is early adapter of new and emerging library technologies and services. It works on the vision to satisfy the needs of the users by means of its collection and innovative services and become one of the leading libraries in the country in the field of resources, services and technology. The Central Library IIT Delhi is looking for young, enthusiastic and dynamic postgraduates with minimum First Division in Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) or equivalent, to work as Library Intern. The applicant must be passed MLIS or equivalent examination either only in the year 2017 or 2018. However, those who are expecting MLIS final marksheet as above by the day of Test/Interview may also apply. Candidates who passed the MLIS or equivalent examination before 2017 need not apply.
Period of Internship
Internship position is purely on temporary basis. The internship will initially be offered for six months and based on performance; it may be extended for another period of six months. The maximum period of internship will be for one year only.
