Applications are invited for one Full-Time Senior Consultant in the Faculty of Library and Information Science, School of Social Sciences, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068. The details of post, qualifications and terms and conditions are as follows:
Candidates who preferably have a Ph.D degree with a minimum of 55% marks at Masters level in the area of Library and Information Science along with sufficient academic experience may apply for Full-time Senior Consultant, initially for a period of six months, which is extendable as required.
Terms and Conditions:
1. The post is purely contractual engagement. The selected candidate will have no right what so ever for absorption/regularisation in the University. The tenure on the contract will be initially for six months and extendable further based on her/ his performance and requirement.
2. The remuneration would be in the range of Rs. 30,000 to 37,500/- per month ( consolidated)
The nature of work at IGNOU would involve activities pertaining to development and delivery of programmes of study in the discipline of Library and Information Science. It includes writing and editing course material and assisting the faculty members in the planning and development of new programmes.
