Chandigarh Librarians’ Association (CLA) is
organizing its 2nd one day National Seminar “Libraries in the Digital Era”
jointly with Dev Samaj College of Education for Women, Chandigarh on 11 October
2013.
Papers, based on practice / research / best practices / case studies / user studies/ surveys, etc., related to the Seminar theme and sub-themes as indicated below are invited:
• Change Management in libraries
• Relationship with library users
• Hybrid Libraries and Digital Libraries
• E resources in Academic Libraries
• E-Learning opportunities for library professionals
• Information Literacy and Reference Services
• Skills and competences of library Professionals
• Social media in Libraries
• Best Practices in school Libraries
• Services in Special Libraries
• Public Libraries: Past, Present and Future
The registration fee for all the participants will be : Rs 750/-. The fee covers kit, proceedings, meals, tea and participation certificate. The fee may be paid by local cheque/bank draft in favour of “Chandigarh Librarians’ Association”, payable at Chandigarh.
