Recruitment Notice for the post of College Librarian on Ad-hoc Basis
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria for the post of College Librarian are invited to appear before the Selection Committee on December 16th 2013 at 11:00am in the College Committee Room.
The appointment shall be purely on ad-hoc basis for a period of 4 months terminable even before without assigning any reasons thereof and without prior notice. The term may be renewed and will be governed as per University of Delhi rules for ad-hoc appointment.
Scale of Pay: 15600-39100 with AGP: Rs.6000/- plus usual allowances as admissible for Ad-hoc appointments as per University of Delhi rules.
Eligibility Criteria:
1) A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.
2) Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
