Applications are invited from suitable candidates in the prescribed format for the Teaching and non Teaching positions given in the table below. Applications complete in all respects should reach the Office of the Registrar on or before 20th Feb, 2014 by Registered Post only. Application submitted in person shall not be accepted.

1. Librarian (01 Post: UR) 

Essential Qualification 

i. Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations. 

ii. At least thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a university library or eighteen years experience as a College Librarian. 

iii. Evidence of innovation library service and organization of published work. 

Desirable Qualifications: 

M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree in library science/information science / documentation/achieves 

and manuscript-keeping. 

2. Deputy Librarian (01 Post: UR) 

Essential Qualification 

(i) Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record. 

(ii) Five year experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian. 

(iii) Evidence of innovation library service and organization of published work and professional commitment, computerization of library. 

Desirable Qualifications 

M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree in library science/information science/ documentation/achieves and 

manuscript-keeping/computerization of library.
