PRL announces programme for Library Trainees for its Libraries in Ahmedabad (6 Trainees) for one year.
Qualification: Graduate + Masters degree in Library Science/ Library and Information Science (60% marks & above). Candidates appearing for final year exams (i.e. of 2014) for Masters degree in Library Science/Library & Information Science may also apply. However, their final selection will be subject to declaration of final year result and meeting the advertised norms.
Stipend: Rs.10000/- per month.
Age limit: 26 years as on 31/01/2014; relaxation as per GOI rules.
Candidates may visit our website: www.prl.res.in (OpportunitiesJob vacancies) to register their applications online between 01/04/2014 and 15/04/2014. Applications will be received on-line only. Applications received other than online shall be summarily rejected.
Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Format & Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference & should not be sent to us unless asked for. Candidates may note that the above position is purely temporary and does not lead to permanent absorption of the candidates in the Laboratory. The candidates will not be treated on par with regular employees of PRL and shall have no right to claim implicit or explicit for their absorption or regularization.
Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. No interim correspondence will be entertained. Candidates, who have already availed/being availing Traineeship at PRL, need not to apply.
