Applications in the prescribed form of the University are invited (along with 08 nos. photocopies of applications) from the intending eligible candidates with uniformly good academic career for the following Posts in the Dibrugarh University: (01) Librarian (one post):[Scale of pay: Rs. 37,400-67,000 + GP 10,000/-]
Minimum Qualification:
(i) A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with at least 55% or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven points scale and consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations,
(ii) At least 13 (thirteen) years as a Deputy Librarian in a university library or 18 (eighteen) years experience as a College Librarian,
(iii) Evidence of innovative library service and organisation of published work.,
(iv) Desirable: M.Phil/Ph.D Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation/Archive and Manuscript-keeping.
Applications with attested copies of all testimonials with Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- only in favour of the Registrar, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, payable at State Bank of India, Dibrugarh University Branch (Code 2051), to be received by the undersigned on or before 05.08.2014.
