National Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Management @ Calicut University 30-31 January 2015

We have immense pleasure to inform you that the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Calicut in collaboration with the C.H.M.K. Library, University of Calicut and Kerala Library Association (KLA) Kozhikode Region is organizing a Two-Day National Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Management during 30-31 January 2015. Effective Knowledge Management is becoming a core competence and a key to the success of contemporary organizations.  However, it is being observed that, while knowledge has been acknowledged as source of competitive advantage, it has not been managed well in organizations.  The explosive growth of the Internet and the widespread use of large databases have drastically increased the volume and complexity of data to be mined, leading researchers to explore new ways to glean non-trivial data automatically.  The conference will essentially focus on all contemporary issues related to Knowledge Discovery and Management.      

We request you to publicise this event among the professional colleagues of your University / Department/ Library with a request to contribute papers and be a part of the conference.
