Applications are invited for the one post of ‘Library Assistant’ at Knowledge Resource Centre of BML Munjal University, Gurgaon. The university has been running in its very first academic session and is a comprehensive university with multiple faculties.
Post – Library Assistant (One)
Job Description: Assisting in acquisition/subscription/renewal of documents, handling circulation counter, reader assistance, use of library management software, preferably KOHA (open source software), information searching, classification & cataloguing, etc. and work in shifts.
Essential Qualification: Candidate must possess Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc) from any recognized institute/university.
Experience: Applicant should have 2-3 years of experience in any active library with working knowledge of computer applications in the library, experience in handling KOHA is desirable.
Location – University Campus, i.e. BML Munjal University, 67th KM Stone, NH-8, Gurgaon – 123 413, Haryana
Salary - Negotiable
