CONTRACT VACANCY
IIT Ropar invites applications for the position of Assistant Library and Information Officer
(ALIO) on contract basis.
Job Details:
Position: Assistant Library and Information Officer (ALIO) on contract.
Educational Qualification and Experience:
Essential: Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science or equivalent from a recognized University.
Experience: At least 05 years working experience in an academic Library setup, out of which minimum 02 years of experience in the libraries of IITs, IIMs, IISERs, NITs, or other Centrally funded Institutions.
Desirable: (i) Higher Academic qualification and experience in Library and Information Science.
(ii)Proficiency in handling electronic and print subscription in the automated library environment
Job Type: Contract
No. of Posts: 01
Duration: Initially for a period of one year
Age Limit: No
Pay: Rs. 20, 000/ per month (consolidated). Higher Salary may be considered for those with higher qualification and experience.
Hiring Process: On the basis of interview
