Apprentices in Library and Information Science ICMR, HQ wishes to engage Apprentices in the discipline of Library and Information Science under the Apprenticeship Scheme of the Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD.
Applications are invited from candidates who have passed out the qualifying examination during 2014 & 2015. (Candidate(s) whose results are awaited may also apply but they will have to produce the passing certificate during the interview).
The details of the requirements are as follows:-
Number of Apprentices - Four
Qualifications: At least 2nd class Bachelors degree in Science(50%) and BLISc or MLISc from a recognized university
Stipend: Rs.11,500/- per month
Applications on plain paper giving details like (a) Name, (b) Date of Birth, (c) Address, (d) Nationality, (e) Educational Qualifications (Name of degree, Year of Passing, College/University, Subjects studied and Percentage of marks) and other relevant details, may be sent to Dr. V. K. Srivastava, Head, Division of Publication & Information, Indian Council of Medical Research, V. Ramalingaswami Bhawan, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110029 within 21 days of publication of this advertisement. A recent passport size photograph on the right corner of the application should be affixed and envelope should be superscribed “Application for Apprenticeship at ICMR.”
