Educational Qualification: A Master's Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven points scale and consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations. Desirable : M.Phil. / Ph.D. Degree in library science/ information science/ documentation/ archives and manuscript keeping.
Experience: At least thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a university library or eighteen years' experience as a college Librarian. Evidence of innovative library service and organisation of published work.
Pay Scale: INR Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6600/-
Age Limit: As Per Rules.

Write your Name, Address, and Mobile / Telephone Number on the back side of the Demand Draft. Preciously mention your name and the position you are applying for on the back of Demand Draft.

Applicant shall submit the application in person or by post in the prescribed form together with all enclosures in envelope superscribed “Application for the post of “_______” so as to reach the Registrar, (Establishment Section), Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar- 388120 on or before 19/10/2015, Application received after the due date will be liable to be disregarded. The University will not be responsible for postal delay, if any.
