Qualifications :
A. Essential Qualifications
(i) Master’s degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ documentation with at least 55% of the marks with a consistently good academic record.
(ii) Five years’ experience as an Assistant Librarian/ College Librarian, preferably from University System or Institute of National repute.
(iii) Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work and professional commitment, computerization of library.
(iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for appointment of teachers and other academic staff and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education, 2010
B. Desirable Qualifications:
(i) M.Phil./Ph.D. degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ documentation/ archives and manuscript. (ii) Knowledge of e-Resource Acquisition and Management
(iii) Practical knowledge DSpace Institutional Repository software
(iv) Expertise of content management software like JOOMLA or Drupal
(v) Proficiency in Liberty-Library Management Software
Pay Scale : NT-2
Age Limit : 45 Years

Qualifications :
A. Essential Qualifications
(i) Master’s degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ documentation with at least 55% of the marks with a consistently good academic record.
(ii) Qualifying in the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by UGC. However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D degree in accordance of with UGC regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment. (iii) Five years experience as a Professional Assistant/Jr. Professional from University Library System or Institute of National repute.
B. Desirable Qualifications:
(i) M.Phil./Ph.D. degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ documentation/ archives and manuscript.
(ii) Knowledge of e-Resource Acquisition and Management
(iii) Practical knowledge web based institutional repository
(iv) Familiarity of content management software like JOOMLA or Drupal
