Desired Qualification: 1. A M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation/ Archives and manuscript-keeping/ Computerization of library. 2. Evidence of setting up of digital Library/Computer Application in library automation.
Scale of Pay: Rs.37,000-67,000 + GP 10,000.

Deputy Librarian

Essential Qualifications: 1. A Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation from a recognized University with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent
grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record. 2. Five years’ experience as an Assistant Librarian in University/College. 3. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work and professional commitment, computerization of library. 4. Operational knowledge of Computer and Internet.
Desired Qualification: (i) A M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation/ Archives and manuscript-keeping/ Computerization of library. (ii) Operational knowledge of Library Automation and Networking.
Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100 + 8000 AGP.
Age Limit: 45 Years.
Assistant Librarian

Essential Qualifications: 1. Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/
Documentation Science from a recognized University with at least 55% of the marks (or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerisation of library. 2. UGC NET/SLET/SET qualified in the relevant subject. Candidates having Ph.D Degree in accordance with UGC Regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
Desired Qualification: 1. M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation/ Archives and manuscript-keeping/ Computerization of library. 2. One year experience of Computer Application in library automation.
Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100 + 6000 AGP.
Age Limit: 45 Years.
Information Scientist
No. of Posts: 01
Essential Qualifications: 1. First class B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science Degree/Information Technology) or equivalent OR First Class Master’s Degree in Computer Applications (MCA) or equivalent. OR Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc.) 2. At least five years experience, out of which three years in Library Automation preferably in University/Institute/
College/PSU etc.
Scale of Pay: Rs.15,600-39,100 + GP 5400.
Age Limit: 45 Years.
