SIS (Society for Information Science) is happy to announce that in association with National Institute of Technology(NIT), Silchar, SIS is organizing its 29th Annual Convention and Conference on “ Information –Innovation –Technology: Creating Seamless Linkages” from 26-28 November 2012 at Silchar.

BACKGROUND

New informatics and communication paradigms are crafted by contemporary research in information science through a multi-disciplinary approach with a distinct influence from bordering disciplines such as Natural and behavioral sciences apart from predominant perspectives from computer sciences. The theme of this Conference seeks to provide a platform to academia ,information specialists and library science professionals to explore this multi-disciplinary approach by integrating technologies in understanding the implicit and explicit functions of information ,innovation and communication domains.
