Delhi Public Library (DPL) is managed by the Delhi Library Board (DLB) as an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The DPL is looking for an eminent person in the field of Library to fill up one post of "Director" in the Pay Band of Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs. 8700.
Essential Qualifications
i) Master's Degree from a recognized university;
ii) Master's Degree in Library and Information Science;
iii) 15 years of experience of working in a Library of standing, including administrative
experience.
Desirable
i) Experience in computer application in library operations.
ii) Experience of having managed educational and cultural programmes and
activities for general public and students; and
iii) Experience of working in the field of public relation and media publicity.
