Walk-in-Interview for the post of Library Trainee and Library Attendant
Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar Library is looking forthree "Library Trainees" and two “Library Attendant cum Data Entry Operator”. Candidates interested in hands on exposure to new paradigms in the profession may apply. The position will be offered for a period of 12 months from the date of joining. Positions are purely temporary, and those selected will have no claim towards permanent appointment.
Selection criteria:
1. Library Trainee:
Qualification: The candidate must have an MLISc degree. The selection will be based on the interview and practical test.
Desirable: Candidates with good knowledge and experience in the usage of computers, and with experience in library and information services will be preferred.
The Central Library is kept open till midnight on all working days during the year. The selected candidates will have to work from Monday-Saturday (six days a week) and be ready to work in different shifts and weekends on rotation basis.
