The KSCSTE is an autonomous body under the Science & Technology Department, Government of Kerala, constituted to promote excellence in Science, Technology & Environment in the state through research & development with the involvement of Academic, Industry & Research Organizations. KSCSTE is one of the prestigious institutions in Kerala, intended to encourage and promote Science and Technology activities and to carry out research activities in various fields of Science through its six R&D Centres in the State.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following position in the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment. Applications for deputation will also be considered.
Library and Documentation Officer, KSCSTE Headquarters (1No.)
Grade : Scientist E1 or Scientist E2 (depending on experience)
Qualifications & Experience :
a) Ph.D in Library Science.
b) Experience: For Scientist E1 - 7 years after M.Lib. Science/5 years after Ph.D. in Library Science and for Scientist E2 - 10years after M.Lib. Science/ 7 years after Ph.D. in Library Science.
c) Publications in indexed and refereed national/international journals
Age : Below 40 years for E1 and 45years for E2 as on the date of closure of applications (Relaxable in the case of deputation candidates).
Pay Band + Grade Pay : P.B – Rs.15,600-39,100+G.P. Rs.7,600 for E1 or Rs.37,400- 67,000 + G.P.Rs.8,700 for E2 plus allowances as per the Council rules.
