The William Madison Randall Library at The University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) invites applications for the following Librarian/Lecturer positions:

Coordinator of Collection Development
Core responsibilities include coordination of all collection development activities, including development of materials budget allocations, selection and assessment of library resources in all formats including digital and electronic collections, and providing leadership in the application of existing and emerging technologies to the collection of library materials to optimize selection process, access, and use.

Social Sciences and Humanities Librarian/Lecturer
Core responsibilities include providing general and specialized research assistance; developing and enhancing service models for social science and humanities disciplines; developing subject specific information literacy instruction with a focus on student learning; participating in the library’s instructional services program, including planning and delivering classroom instruction, coordinating and conducting tours, and developing instructional materials (primarily web-based); and serving as liaison librarian to select social science and humanities departments.

Health and Human Services Librarian/Lecturer
Core responsibilities include serving as liaison librarian to the College of Health and Human Services; providing instruction and in-depth research consultation for students and faculty; incorporating information resources into the curriculum; promoting the use of library and information services; collaborating with Health and Human Services faculty to improve awareness and effective use of information resources; developing strategies for the improvement of library services; assisting with e-science/e-research and data management plans; and participating in the library’s instructional services program.
