Qualification: (i) Minimum Eligibility Criteria – (a) A Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and consistently good academic record as set out in UGC Regulations, 2010. (b) At least 13 (thirteen) years of experience as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library or 18 (eighteen) years of experience as a College Librarian. (c) Evidence of innovative library services and organization of published work. Assistant Librarian (Pay Band Rs 15,600–39,100 plus Academic Grade Pay Rs 6,000): Two posts (SC-1, UR-1)

Qualification: (i) Minimum Eligibility Criteria – (a) A Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of Library. (b) Qualifying in the national level eligibility test conducted for the purpose of UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
