The persons will be selected on the basis of a test followed by practical test and  interview by a selection committee. Reservation of the above posts will be applicable as per existing rules.  He/She will be required to achieve the targets fixed/assigned.  The services can be terminated at any time if the performance is not found satisfactory. No traveling allowance will be paid for attending the above Test/Interview in the National Archives of India. Admission Test for PhD programme 2014 at DLIS, Gauhati University

The Admission Test for the PhD programme in the Department of Lib & Inf Science, Gauhati University will be held on January 23, 2014 (11.30 AM to 02.00 PM) at the Department premises.

The admission test will be of 100 marks with the break up as shown below. Candidates are advised to submit details of their Professionals activities in tabular form including information regarding NET qualification, LIS experiences, Training/ workshop participation, Paper publication and Seminar presentation on the day of written test.
