National Seminar on “Professional Motivatio n for Librarians” in College of Horticultu re, Thrissur on 22-06-2013

National Seminar on “Professional Motivation for Librarians”
(for Qualified Librarians and Library Education Teachers)
 The College of Horticulture (CoH), Kerala Agricultural University (KAU), Thrissur is organizing a National Seminar on “Professional Motivation for Librarians” in Association with Kerala Library Association (KLA), Trivandrum on 22nd June 2013.
 
The Seminar will be inaugurated by Dr. E.K. Mathew, Registrar, KAU in a function Presided over by Dr. C.T. Abraham, Associate Dean, CoH.  The Key Note Address will be delivered by Sri. S.L. Faisal, General Secretary, Kerala Library Association, Trivandrum.
 
The following six sessions with theme presentations, other papers and panel discussions will be held during the seminar:
 
Session I    : How to be a Successful Librarian?
Session II   : Teaching Skills for Professional Excellence
Session III  : Role of ICTs for Professional Motivation
Session IV : Effective Communication for Professional Motivation
Session V  : Internet as an effective tool to achieve User and Professional Satisfaction

Excellence is required in every area of libraries. The goal of the conference is to bring together librarians, information engineers, educators as well as experts and professionals in other related fields to exchange ideas and share research findings about excellence in libraries and come up with Vision for future for achieving the excellence in libraries.

Guidelines for Paper Submission
Papers should be submitted latest by 17th Aug, 2013 mentioning Name/Names of author/authors, their addresses (postal and email), and mobile/phone/fax numbers. The papers will be accepted only through electronic mode and should be mailed to : eial2013ggn@gmail.com.The Paper should be sent in Times New Roman format with one and a half spacing and 12 font sizes with 1 inch along both sides. The length of the paper should not exceed 5000 words. The papers should strictly follow the submission guidelines.
 Important Dates:
Submission of full paper: August 2nd, 2013
 Notification of acceptance with reviewers’ comments: August 17th, 2013
 Submission of the final paper: August 30th, 2013
 Registration Fee: 
 
Rs. 500/- per Delegate  
  (This includes conference kit, Tea and Lunch).
