*The Workshop*

Plagiarism is one of the most serious and frequently occurring scholastic dishonesty in academia. It has always been a problem in academia, but the explosive growth of the Internet and widespread use of digital resources has made it much more common. Plagiarism occurs when another person’s ideas, words, languages or images are copied or reproduced without recognized methods of citation and clearly acknowledging the source. It can happen due to a number of reasons including the lack of awareness about plagiarism and inability to express ideas because of limited vocabulary. 
Plagiarism, whether it is intentional or unintentional, is to be avoided at all costs and all works must be cited, paraphrased and acknowledged properly.

*Objectives of the Workshop*

 To ensure the participants are aware of academic plagiarism.
 To provide hands-on training to detect plagiarism.
 To provide hands-on-training in recognized methods of citation.

*Target Audience*

The Workshop will be of immense benefit to Research Scholars, Faculty  Members and Library Professionals.

*Workshop Faculty*

The Workshop will be handled by experts with extensive experience in conducting awareness programs on Plagiarism & Reference Management.

*Registration*

Registration fee is Rs.300/-(Rupees Three Hundred Only) per participant.
