Dear Sir/Madam,
Librarianship is a noble profession. Its’ prime motto is to provide services in the best possible manner to the users. Librarian’s prime concern is also directly linked to Customer satisfaction.
As we all Library Professionals are blessed with subject knowledge and experience, usually the lacking part, which we come across, is the art of presenting ourselves in front of others. It would be possible if a library professional has thorough knowledge of managerial skills. A Librarian who has managerial skills performs better in his profession. Many librarians in the profession are not able to meet user expectations due to lack of Managerial skills.
Keeping this thought in our mind we tried to give a platform to the Library Professionals to groom themselves and learn few things on Managerial Skills. So, it is our pleasure to share with you that INTEGRATED ACADEMY OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY (INMANTEC), Ghaziabad in collaboration with MANAGEMENT LIBRARIES NETWORK (MANLIBNET) is going to organize a Two-Day Librarian Development Programme (LDP) on "Managerial Skills for Library Professionals" for Library & Information Professionals on April 18-19th, 2015.
