INTERVIEW TECHNIQUES
Generally to
check the skills, experience, qualification, hobbies etc., an Interview will be
conducted and to select a suitable and best deserved candidate for the position
in a Company who can handle the job efficiently, independently.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Until and unless you have not prepared well, you are unable to face the Interview.
Remember
that the interviewer(s) are of great experience. They are fully acquainted with
the nature of the duty and qualities required of a candidate for the particular
job. They can judge a candidate’s capabilities from his words and expressions.
In this
matter, the candidate must be well prepared to give the answer briefly,
point-to-point, with suitable examples so that he can impress the Interviewer;
The following are few techniques which are generally observe at the time of
Interview;
1. There are
generally two types of interview, (a) Verbal and b) Written.

collect some information about the Company, their main business activities,
about Product, Service, how many branches, their locations, how many staff
working (Technical/Non-technical), Salary range etc. complete so that, at the
time of interview you will have more confident to give the appropriate reply.
7 Think
that, you are going to attend the Interview but not to beg anything from the
Interviewer.
8. Never
claim false expressions of any hobbies or interest, actually you don’t have.
9. Don’t lie
any matter at any cost, which leads to leave a bad impressions.
10. Dress smartly with combination tie, shoe (polished), cut the nails, use light scent/spray, combed well etc., Avoid strong scent/after shave lotion.

if you may have mouth-smell, then Pl. use mouth-refreshing tablets/syrup before
interview. Advise not to use the onion, garlic & other food stuffs which give
smells while speaking.

the interview location at least half-an-hour in advance.
13. Wait patiently up to your turn comes in the Waiting Hall/Room. And don’t discuss any technical/subject matter with your colleagues this will loose your confidence.

the Interview Hall/Room duly knocking the door. Don’t enter the room neither very
hurriedly nor very slowly. Normal pace and dignified entry must characterize
the candidate’s appearance before the interview board.

saying usual salutation like, Good morning/Afternoon/Evening as per the
situation, give brief introduction and the reasons to come here, and don’t wait
till the Interviewer to start the discussions.

comfortably with more confidently and don’t keep any File, Testimonials, or Bag
on the interview’s table. You should keep it down at your side.

very attentively & carefully the question and give answer in natural &
normal ways.

don’t understand the question properly, request him to repeat, tell frankly

then, simply keep quite, don’t try to give false reply/information.

interview, see the Interviewer’s eyes and give reply suitably.

laugh and don’t so close with the Interviewers, otherwise bad impression count.

negative points.

come and can face the interview in perfect manners.

पुस्तकालय के लिए विधान पार्षद देंगे 15 लाख
गोपालगंज, कार्यालय संवाददाता : नगर के उर्दू महाविद्यालय के प्रांगण में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में छात्राओं के बीच पोशाक के लिए एक-एक हजार की राशि का वितरण किया गया। इस दौरान विधान पार्षद सुनील सिंह ने कालेज के पुस्तकालय निर्माण के लिए 15 लाख रुपये देने की घोषणा की।
इसके पूर्व बुधवार को विधान निधि से निर्मित विद्यालय भवन का उद्घाटन करते हुए सुनील सिंह ने कहा कि अच्छे शैक्षणिक माहौल से ही छात्रों का समुचित विकास संभव है। उन्होंने कहा कि विद्यालय व कालेजों के विकास के लिए वे सदैव तत्पर रहेंगे। इस मौके पर विद्यालय के पुस्तकालय निर्माण के लिए भी उन्होंने 15 लाख रुपये देने की घोषणा करते हुए कहा कि पुस्तकालय बनने से छात्र-छात्राओं की कई समस्याओं का स्थायी समाधान होगा। छात्रा रिफत जक्की ने स्वागत गीत 'मेरी उम्मीदों के दामन में, जरा भर धूल भी रख दें तो नियामत होगी', से विधान पार्षद का स्वागत किया। इस मौके पर प्राचार्य जुल्फेकार अली, रजी अहमद फैजी, मोहम्मद मुस्तफा, दीनानाथ प्रसाद तिवारी, अजहर इमाम खां तथा मतीउर रहमान सहित कई गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित थे।
पुस्तकालय अध्यक्ष की श्रेणी का मामला उलझा (हरियाणा)
प्रदेश सरकार पुस्तकालय कर्मियों को गैर शिक्षक श्रेणी में डालना चाहती है या नहीं यह मामला उलझता जा रहा है। प्रदेश सरकार के ही दो आदेश इस मामले को उलझा रहे हैं। अब यह कुवि प्रशासन के लिए भी सिरदर्द बन गया है। कुवि प्रशासन इस मामले को 8 मई को कार्यकारिणी परिषद की बैठक में ला चुका है, लेकिन कर्मचारियों के विरोध के बाद कुवि ने इसे प्रदेश सरकार के पास भेज पुनर्विचार के लिए भेज दिया। वहीं पुस्तकालय संघ ने इस बारे में मुख्यमंत्री भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा से मिलकर श्रेणी के साथ छेड़छाड़ न करने की मांग की है।
बेशक यूजीसी के नियमों के अनुसार विश्वविद्यालयों और कॉलेजों के पुस्तकालयों में कार्य करने वाले पुस्तकालयाध्यक्षों, पुस्तकालय कर्मचारियों की योग्यता शिक्षकों के बराबर हो और यूजीसी ने इनकों शिक्षक कर्मचारियों की श्रेणी में शामिल किया हो, लेकिन प्रदेश सरकार इस बारे में विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन को उलझा रही है। उच्चतम शिक्षा निदेशालय की ओर 18 जनवरी को भेजे गए आदेश और 21 जुलाई को प्रदेश सरकार की ओर से जारी छठे वेतन आयोग की अधिसूचना अलग-अलग राग अलाप रहे। उच्चतम शिक्षा कमीश्नर की ओर जारी पत्र में इन कर्मचारियों को गैर शिक्षक कर्मचारी की श्रेणी में शामिल करने का आदेश दिया है। जबकि प्रदेश सरकार की ओर से जारी छठे वेतन आयोग का नोटिफिकेशन इनको यूजीसी के अनुसार शिक्षक श्रेणी में शामिल कर रहा है।
अब इस मामले में कुवि प्रशासन भी उलझ गया है। कुवि की ओर से इस मामले को आठ मई को हुई कार्यकारिणी परिषद की बैठक में शामिल किया था, लेकिन कार्यकारिणी परिषद ने इस मामले को अगली बैठक तक टाल दिया है। कुवि ने इस बारे में पुनर्विचार के लिए प्रदेश सरकार से आग्रह किया है।
मुख्यमंत्री से मिले पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष :
हरियाणा पुस्तकालय संघ के सदस्य इस मामले में मुख्यमंत्री भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा से मिल चुके हैं। 21 मई को कुरुक्षेत्र दौरे पर आए मुख्यमंत्री को संघ के सदस्यों ने ज्ञापन सौंप कर मांग की है कि पुस्तकालय कर्मियों की श्रेणी के साथ कोई छेड़छाड़ न की जाए। हरियाणा पुस्तकालय संघ के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष आरडी मैहला ने बताया कि उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री से इस मामले में खुद संज्ञान लेने की मांग की है। उन्होंने बताया कि उनकी योग्यता और भर्ती प्रक्रिया की शर्ते शिक्षकों के बराबर हैं। फिर उन्हें गैर शिक्षक कर्मचारियों की श्रेणी में शामिल क्यों किया जा रहा है? आरडी मैहला ने कुवि कुलपति का इस मामले में पुनर्विचार करने के फैसले का स्वागत किया है।

49600 विद्यार्थी पर भी पुस्तकालय नहीं
चकाई, (जमुई) निज प्रतिनिधि : प्रखंड के 640 गांवों में 292 मध्य एवं प्राथमिक विद्यालय, छह उच्च विद्यालय, चार इंटर स्तरीय विद्यालय एवं एक डिग्री कालेज है जिसमें 49600 विद्यार्थी पढ़ रहे हैं। इन संस्थानों के 15000 विद्यार्थी प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा की तैयारी कर रहे हैं। बावूजद इसके प्रखंड में एक भी सरकारी या गैर सरकारी पुस्तकालय नहीं है जहां बच्चों को सभी तरह की पत्रिका या पुस्तकें उपलब्ध हों। ऐसे में गरीब बच्चे उच्च शिक्षा के प्रतियोगी माहौल में पिछड़ रहे हैं। प्रखंड में 80 प्रतिशत लोग गरीबी रेखा से नीचे हैं। इनके बच्चों के पास इतना पैसा नहीं है कि वे पत्रिका एवं विभिन्न अखबार खरीद कर पढ़ सकें। ऐसे में सार्वजनिक पुस्तकालय ही इनके उम्मीद की आखिरी किरण है। जहां एक साथ कई पुस्तकें पत्रिका समाचार उपलब्ध होता है। चकाई में एक भी पुस्तकालय के नहीं होने से गरीब ग्रामीणों के बच्चे प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा में असफल हो रहे हैं। आदिवासी छात्रावास में रह कर पढ़ाई कर रहे एन्पोनी बताते हैं कि पुस्तकालय नहीं रहने से हमलोग पिछड़ रहे हैं। वहीं परांची के परमेश्वर एवं नारायण दास कहते हैं कि पुस्तकालय प्रतियोगिता परीक्षार्थी की रीड़ होती है। हमारे अभिभावक मजदूरी करके पत्रिका के लिए पैसे नहीं दे सकते हैं ऐसे में हम रोजगार के अवसर खो रहे हैं। चकाई में पुस्तकालय की स्थापना को लेकर घोरमो निवासी प्रो. धर्मेन्द्र सिन्हा ने जमुई समाहरणालय के समक्ष आमरण अनशन किया। आमरण अनशन के दौरान तत्कालीन अनुमंडलाधिकारी ने एक माह के अंदर चकाई में पुस्तकालय खोलने का लिखित आश्वासन देकर अनशन तुड़वाया। आश्वासन के एक वर्ष बीत गए परंतु चकाई में पुस्तकालय नहीं खुला। अनुमंडलाधिकारी बदल गए परिणाम वही ढाक के तीन पात साबित हुआ।

No young takers for this niche library in South Delhi
Bustling with activity and cultural programmes specific to Bengal and Bengalis, Chittaranjan Park in South Delhi has for long been considered a ‘mini Kolkata’.
It also has the Kali Mandir Society often referred to by the locals as Kali Bari. Built on a small hill, this is a primarily a temple complex but also houses the Community Cultural Center. The complex started with a Shiv temple, which still stands within the complex but now the larger shrines are dedicated to Kali and Radha-Krishna. Over the years it has remained an important centre of convergence for the local community during Durga Puja festivities.
Renowned for their love of reading and academia, the Bengalis as a community pride themselves on their love for literature and poetry. But the little library, named after Ramkrishna Paramhansa, which nestles in the premises of the temple complex does not boast of young readership nor has been successful in promoting love for literature or literary texts amongst the young Bengalis. Run by Purnima Das who is assisted by Shivnath Chakravarty, a specially abled person, the library subscribes to all possible major newspapers including renowned Bengali ones like the Anandabazar Patrika, Bortomaan, Proti Din, Aajkaal and even Statesman’s Bengali edition. Not only that, the library also keeps magazines like Khela, Desh, Phire Dekha, Shaptahik Bortoman. Even rare editions of works by Kalidasa are available for those interested. But unfortunately not may people are interested.
This air-conditioned library, which started in 1985, manages to draw only senior citizens. “We don’t get too many readers as this library is part of the mandir. Besides, nobody reads Bengali books now,” rues Purnima. “This library has not been successful in promoting Bengali literature. The fact is, children don’t come here to read at all. They all study in public schools and do not have any Bengali subject. So, we only have one section for children’s reading. The senior citizens on the other hand, come here during their leisure time, which is normally evenings. They enjoy browsing through so many different newspapers.”
Of its total collection of about 25,000 books, about 80 per cent is Bengali fiction. Among others, it also keeps books by Sunil Ganguly, Buddhadeb Ghosh and many others. The library started out keeping only religious books and that remains its USP. “We get maximum readers for our religious collection. We have books on Ramakrishna Pramahansa, Ma Sharada, the Bhagavad Gita, books on Hinduism, the Upanishads and on the Vedas,” shares Purnima. Though the library also has books on literary criticism, drama by Utpal Dutt and contemporary Bengali poets, it is not adding to its collection at the moment.
With reading habits going down, it is no surprise that the Ramakrishna library too has suffered in its wake. Despite its very low rates - even at Rs 50 as annual security for lifetime members and the annual membership for Rs 100, there are hardly any takers.

Who cares about libraries?

There was a time when I would have been embarrassed to admit that I love libraries.
A love of libraries has inspired a new book about the importance of the public place.
As a teenager the library was distinctly uncool, except as a place to check out members of the opposite sex while pretending to study for School Certificate. At least, that was the only socially acceptable excuse.
But deep down I loved the place: from childhood days of Margaret Mahy and Richard Scarry, to pre-teen years when "I have a project to research" was the only excuse capable of persuading Mum that I should be allowed to get off the school bus in Takapuna and hang out by myself for a precious hour or two. I still recall the burgeoning sense of independence and freedom. And believe it or not, most of the time I did actually go to the library.
These days I take my kids to the library most weeks, and usually come away with something for myself. There's almost always a book on the "new release" stand calling out "borrow me", even though I already have far too many on my bedside table.
Now, a love of libraries has inspired The Library Book, a collection of musings on the importance and meaning of public libraries from writers including Zadie Smith, Julian Barnes, Kate Mosse and Alan Bennett.
The book was first published in the UK, where the future of tiny village and suburban libraries is in peril. It's a similar story in the US, where huge public spending cuts threaten the survival of libraries from New York to California.Many write that they would not have become writers, but for the sanctuary and inspiration offered by their local library during difficult teenage years.
In both countries, vigorous campaigns are underway to save public libraries. For one week last year, the shelves of the Stony Stratford library in Buckinghamshire stood empty of all 16,000 titles, after a Facebook campaign encouraged members to borrow their maximum 15 books. The protesters wanted to demonstrate the great void that would be left in the heart of the community if the library were shut down.
Here in New Zealand, proposed reductions in library services also face strong community opposition. A recent petition opposing the axing of Tauranga's mobile library service has gained over 1500 signatures, while last October, Hamilton City Council was forced to back down from aproposal to charge $2 per book borrowed.
The Library Book is a tribute to and celebration of that place in the community. "There really aren't many things in life that can enrich you for free yet ask for nothing in return," writes Nicky Wire, bass player and lyricist for the Manic Street Preachers.
Stephen Fry writes movingly of how discovering his library helped him to understand and accept his homosexuality. It also led him to many great writers, with a side-effect that his own appetite for knowledge caused him to "educate myself to a degree that was beyond anything a school could hope to achieve".
Others note that without well-funded libraries willing to take a chance on new writers, many would never see their work in print. As Lionel Shriver points out, a lot of books would simply disappear from sight within weeks of publication if not acquired by libraries.
There are tales of pointless bureaucracy, formative meetings, a mobile service that became a vehicle for illicit affairs and even a mobility scooter ram-raid. Whoever said the library was boring?
Not me, obviously. I think even I would be surprised by a print-out of my complete borrowing history over the last 30-something years. I've borrowed books on Baltic politics, Steiner education, Rita Angus, macro-biotic cooking, the AIDS crisis, Mary Queen of Scots, round-the-world sailing, meditation, architecture, crochet and all manner of cookbooks and health and fitness fads. And those are just the topics I can remember.
It's an odd mix, but I'm a firm believer that such eclectic reading has the capacity to expand our minds and enrich our lives. One of the bonuses of Auckland's transition to a supercity is that the library catalogues have merged. Auckland readers can now request books from any branch be delivered to their local library at no cost. Books zooming everywhere from Wellsford to Waitakere to Waiuku probably creates all sorts of inefficiencies, but with 3.5 million items on offer, the available range has expanded enormously.
So I write this blog in celebration of the public library, but I couldn't put it better than broadcaster and writer Catlin Moran. "A library in the middle of a community is a cross between an emergency exit, a life raft and a festival. They are cathedrals of the mind; hospitals of the soul; theme parks of the imagination. On a cold and rainy island, they are the only sheltered public spaces where you are not a consumer, but a citizen instead. A human with a brain and a heart and a desire to be uplifted, rather than a customer with a credit card and an inchoate 'need' for 'stuff'."

Bookworms keep libraries alive
GUWAHATI: With the world now turning to the internet and electronic media for seeking information on all kinds of topics, one would think libraries have almost become obsolete. But going by the increasing number of members joining District Library here, it seems books still hold their away among the residents of the city.
The premier library is registering a steady growth in its membership and with good reason - District Library has more than 50,000 titles in its fold and is considered a Mecca forbookworms in the city as it caters to each and every topic of interest and study besides boasting a substantial collection of children's books as well. At present, it has 36,617 registered members (as of January 30, 2012), excluding those who have joined in the past three months.
"I come to District Library as it provides me with many title options. It is a treasure trove of old and new books. Since many of the books available in the market are quite expensive and one can't buy all of them, I prefer the library. One can't turn to the internet for everything," said Sangeeta Deka, a student who's a member of the library.
"The Interest in books hasn't gone down with the rapid spread of the internet and electronic media as yet. I don't think library membership will be affected adversely in future as well as it caters to the need of thousands of knowledge seekers who want to do indepth study on a topic and want to read real books and not e-books. The registered members have increased and the figures show a positive trend," said Jaya Choudhury, assistant librarian. She added the library has begun computerisation of all the titles and by 2013, the process, which began last month, will be complete.
Consecrated under the scheme of educational development (5th Five Year Plan of 1951-1956), which foresaw the improvement of library services, four district libraries along with the State Central Library in Shillong were set up in 1954. With the shifting of the capital from Shillong to Guwahati in 1972, District Library became the foremost library in the state.
It was in 1984 that the library was upgraded to the directorate of library services under the department of education, keeping in view the importance of library services and the rapid growth of libraries. At present, Assam has a public library system functioning under the directorate, and there are 23 district libraries, 14 sub-divisional libraries and 204 rural ones.
These libraries have been around for 100 yrs
When Gajanan Deshmukh read about a unique meet for 100-year-old public libraries, he was determined to travel for more than 10 hours from Jamkhed in Ahmednagar district to Mumbai.
Last week, Deshmukh made that long journey to the city to represent Lokmanya Taluka Vachanalay that was started by his great grand father in 1887. More than 40 representatives from 83 public libraries of Maharashtra were felicitated by Maharashtra Seva Sangh, a cultural organisation, as part of their 75th anniversary celebrations.
"The library is very close to my heart and the next step is to computerise the library so that rare books are preserved," said Deshmukh, who retired as a school principal in 2001 and is now involved in library work.
The oldest library was in Ratnagiri, set up in 1828 and libraries such as the Dadar Sarvajanik Vachanalay - popularly known as DASAVA - and the Mumbai Marathi Grantha Sangrahalay, Dadar east were also felicitated.
"These books are invaluable for historical research because Maharashtra and India witnessed major social upheavals in 19th and 20th century," said Pratibha Gokhale, chief librarian, Mumbai University. "They have maps, letters and manuscripts written by thinkers such as Lokmanya Tilak and Babasaheb Ambedkar."
Added Nandini Hambarde, secretary, Maharashtra Seva Sangh, "The event gave representatives a chance to exchange notes on issues such as preservation of rare books and financial challenges."

बदहाल पुस्तकाल, तंगहाल कर्मचारी, छात्रो का टोटा
हजारीबाग : राज्य में उच्च शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में बेहतर गुणवत्ता पूर्ण शिक्षा के लिए प्रसिद्घ हजारीबाग का एक मात्र प्रमंडलीय पुस्तकालय बदहाल है। इसके कर्मचारी तंगहाल हैं। वहीं पुस्तकालय में छात्रों का टोटा पड़ा हुआ है। यह मजाक नहीं हकीकत है। उत्तरी छोटानागपुर की हृदयस्थली हजारीबाग की पहचान शांत एवं स्वच्छ वातावरण में बेहतर शिक्षा उपलब्ध कराने वालों में अग्रणी है। इसके बावजूद भी यहां शिक्षा ग्रहण करने वालों छात्रों का पुस्तकालय में टोटा पड़ा हुआ है। वहीं कर्मचारियों की बदहाली रोंगटे खड़े कर देती है। मानव संसाधन के अदूरदर्शी एवं उपेक्षा पूर्ण रवैये के कारण प्रमंडलीय पुस्तकालय अपनी पहचान खोते जा रही है। पुस्तकालय के कर्मचारी जहां दाने दाने को मुहताज हैं। वहीं पुस्तकालय में विभाग में उपलब्ध कराई गई पुस्तकें कोई काम की नहीं है। पीने के लिए पर्याप्त जल की भी व्यवस्था। नहीं है। बिजली की तो क्या कहने न जनरेटर न बिजली। ऐसे में कई कंप्यूटर बेकार पड़े हैं।
पुस्तकालय कर्मी का वेतन 25 साल में मात्र 350 रुपये
इस महंगाई के दौर में छठे वेतन के आधार पर सरकार वेतन देती है। समय दर समय वेतन वृद्घि सहित टीए-डीए एवं अन्य भत्ते देकर अपने कर्मियों के जीवन को सुखमय बनाने के लिए प्रयत्नशील रहती है। ऐसे में शिक्षा का मंदिर पुस्तकालय का सिपाही पिछले 25 सालों से मात्र 350 रुपये के मासिक के वेतन पर अपनी ड्यूटी बजा रहे हैं। वह अपनी व्यथा की कथा बताते हुए सरकारी व्यवस्था के रूखे व्यवहार से त्रस्त हो रो पड़ता है। जहां देश में न्यूनतम मजदूरी दर 1.73 रुपये प्रति दिवस है और मनरेगा मजदूर को प्रति सौ दिन के कार्य के अलावा बेरोजगारी भत्ता दिया जाता है। ऐसे में जिले का एकलौता प्रमंडलीय पुस्तकालय जो कांग्रेस कार्यालय स्थित रूकमणि भवन में स्थित है। पुस्तकालय अध्यक्ष एनपी कर्ण और उनके सह कर्मियों का वेतन दर मजाक से कम नहीं है।
पुस्तकालय सहायक का वेतन 350
पुस्तकालय सहायक पारसनाथ सिंह का मासिक वेतन 350 रुपये है। वहीं पुस्तकालय के स्वीपर हुकूम महतो का वेतन 50 रुपये मासिक है। प्रहरी हुलास कुमार रजक 350 रुपये तथा अध्यक्ष एनपी कर्ण का वेतन 350 रुपये हैं। एक ओर पिछले 25 सालों में कर्मचारियों के वेतन में चार बार बढ़ोत्तरी की गई है। वहीं राज्य में कुल चौदह पुस्तकालयों के कर्मचारियों को दाने-दाने के लिए मोहताज होना पड़ रहा है। 25 वर्षो में कोई सिपाही जहां दारोगा बन जाता है वहीं इनकी स्थिति यथावत है। अपनी विवशता का रोना रोते हुए कर्मियों ने बताया कि अब इस उम्र में नई नौकरी भी संभव नहीं है।
सचिवालय से लेकर कोर्ट में है मामला
अपनी आर्थिक गुलामी का दंश झेल रहे पुस्तकालय कर्मियों ने बताया कि दर्जनों बार मामलों को लेकर सचिवालय एवं कमीशनर के पास पत्र लिखा गया है, लेकिन मामला यथावत हैं। यहां तक कि उक्त मामला पिछले दस वर्षो से हाई कोर्ट में लंबित है।
भुखमरी की स्थिति, शादी की चिंता
पुस्तकालय के अध्यक्ष एनपी कर्ण ने बताया कि भूखमरी की स्थिति में मजबूरीवश जिंदगी गुजार रहे हैं। सरकार कान में रूई डाल कर सो गई है। ऐसी गरीबी में तीन बेटियों की शादी कैसे होगी? वहीं सहायक पारसनाथ का कहना था कि मेरे भी दो बेटे-बेटियां हैं। इनकी पढ़ाई से लेकर शादी तक का खर्च कहां से उठा पाएंगे। बस एक ही आस है कि कोर्ट का फैसला जल्द से जल्द आ जाए। जिसकी आस में हम सब जिंदा हैं।
वेतन की आस में पूर्व लाइब्रेरियन का देहांत
वर्तमान लाइब्रेरियन श्री कर्ण बताते हैं कि पूर्व पुस्तकालय अध्यक्ष स्व. प्रेम कुमार सिन्हा की मृत्यु वेतन की आस में चिंता करने से हो गई थी। वहीं गोड्डा व गढ़वा के पुस्तकालय कर्मियों की मृत्यु भी असमय सरकार उपेक्षापूर्ण रवैये के कारण हो गई। बावजूद इनकी हालात सुधारने के लिए सरकारी की कुंभकर्णी नींद अब तक नहीं खुली है।
अधिकांश छात्र सदस्यताहीन
पुस्तकालय के अधिकांश छात्र-छात्राएं सदस्यता के बिना पुस्तकालय का प्रयोग करते हैं। अध्यक्ष ने बताया कि शुल्क न देना के कारण इसकी व्यवस्था दयनीय होती जा रही है। इसके साथ सरकार को भी चूना लग रहा है।
पुस्तकालय के चार कंप्यूटर बेकार
पुस्तकालय में मानव संसाधन विभाग द्वारा चार वर्ष पूर्व उक्त पुस्तकालय में लगाए गए थे। इन कंप्यूटरों का प्रयोग सदस्य छात्र अपने हितार्थ पुस्तकालय में मौजूद पुस्तकों की जानकारी आदि के कर सकते हैं, लेकिन ये चार कंप्यूटर ऑपरेटर के अभाव में बेकार पड़े हुए हैं।
बेकार पुस्तकों का लगा हैं अंबार
मानव संसाधन विकास विभाग द्वारा पुस्तकालय अध्यक्ष की रिपोर्ट के बिना ही पुस्तकों की खरीद की जाती है, जिसके कारण छात्रों की आवश्यकता को ध्यान में नहीं रखने के कारण अन उपयोगी पुस्तकों की खरीद हो जाती है और यह केवल पुस्तकालय की शोभा बढ़ाती है।
सड़ रही हैं पुस्तकें
पुस्तकालय में करीब 40 हजार पुस्तकें हैं, लेकिन पर्याप्त मात्रा में अलमीरा न होने के कारण किताबें खुले में पड़ी है। जिसके कारण किताबों को दीमक चाट रही है।
इंजीनियरिंग मेडिकल व मैनेजमेंट के पुस्तकें हैं बेकार
पुस्तकालय में इंजीनियरिंग, मेडिकल व मैनेजमेंट के कई बहुमूल्य पुस्तकें हैं, लेकिन जानकारी के अभाव में और छात्रों में इसके प्रति घटती रूचि के कारण हजारों रुपये की किताबें बेकार पड़ी है।
राज्य के सभी प्रमंडलीय पुस्तकालयों में हजारीबाग की स्थिति ठीक है। पेयजल के लिए वाटर फिल्टर की मांग की जा चुकी है। इस समस्या का समाधान जल्द हो जाएगा। अन्य समस्या से भी जल्द ही निजात मिल जाएगा। जहां तक पुस्तकालय कर्मियों का वेतन की बात है तो पूरे राज्य के सभी प्रमंडलीय पुस्तकालय में यही हाल। इसलिए इस संबंध में कुछ नहीं कह सकते हैं। - डीईओ तुलसीदास
आजादी का गवाह केंद्रीय पुस्तकालय (गोड्डा, झारखंड)
गोड्डा/निप्र : कभी देशभक्तों की शरणस्थली रह चुकी मुख्यालय की हृदय स्थली पर अवस्थित केन्द्रीय पुस्तकालय आज प्रशासनिक व राजनीतिक उपेक्षा के कारण अस्तित्व बचाने के लिए संघर्षरत है। विशाल भवन के बावजूद बुद्धिजीवियों को इसका लाभ नहीं मिल रहा है।
क्या है इतिहास
प्रख्यात समालोचक श्यामानंद घोष व समाजसेवी सच्चिदानंद साहा बताते हैं कि आजादी के वीर सपूतों ने 1940 में हिन्दी साहित्य परिषद की स्थापना की। स्वतंत्रता सेनानी सह प्रथम विधायक बुद्धिनाथ झा कैरब, शिवशंकर ठाकुर, महादेव परशुरामका, सागर मोहन पाठक व जगदीश नारायण मंडल ने आंदोलनकारियों के बीच संवाद का आदान-प्रदान करने व संरक्षण हेतु भवन निर्माण कराया था। आजादी के बाद यहां पुस्तक व पत्र-पत्रिकाओं का अधिक संग्रह हो गया। इसके कारण इसे पुस्तकालय में परिवर्तित कर दिया गया। तत्कालीन समय में अंचल व अनुमंडल शिक्षा पदाधिकारी के कार्यालय भी थे। जिसे 1980 में तत्कालीन एसडीओ आरएस शर्मा ने दूसरे जगह स्थानांतरित कराया और केन्द्रीय पुस्तकालय का नाम दिया। उन्होंने पुस्तकालय के सदस्य के रूप में पुस्तकालय को बुलंदी पर पहुंचा दिया। रामखेलावन सिंह को पुस्तकाध्यक्ष के रूप में बहाल किया गया। इसके बाद 1985 में ओंकार नाथ ने पुस्तकाध्यक्ष के रूप में योगदान दिया। तत्कालीन शिक्षा मंत्री के रूप में प्रदीप यादव के प्रयास से भव्य पुस्तकालय भवन बनकर तैयार हो गया। लेकिन प्रशासनिक उदासीनता के कारण आजतक इसका विधिवत उद्घाटन नहीं हो पाया है। जबकि अनमोल पुस्तकें दीमककी भेंट चढ़ रही है।
क्या कहते हैं स्थानीय लोग
मिथिलेश कुमार, अमरनाथ साह, विजय साह, बबलू झा आदि का कहना है कि झारखंड राज्य गठन के पूर्व तक केन्द्रीय पुस्तकालय में जिले के विभिन्न गांवों के लोगों ने सदस्यता ग्रहण कर नियमित रूप से पुस्तकें पढ़ते थे। राज्य गठन के बाद नया भवन बना और उसके बाद से फिर नहीं खुल पाया है। जबकि सदस्य आज भी खुलवाने के प्रति प्रयासरत हैं।
क्या कहते हैं नगर पंचायत अध्यक्ष
नगर पंचायत अध्यक्ष अजीत कुमार सिंह का कहना है कि पुस्तकालय के विकास के लिए वे प्रयासरत हैं। इस संबंध में उन्होंने प्रयास भी किया लेकिन स्थानीय लोगों का सहयोग नहीं मिलने के कारण सफलता नहीं मिली है। इस संबंध में वरीय पदाधिकारियों से बात की जा रही है।
कुलपति ने किया पुस्तकालय भवन का शिलान्यास
इलाहाबाद : उत्तर प्रदेश राजर्षि टंडन मुक्त विवि फाफामऊ के शैक्षणिक परिसर में निर्मित होने वाले केंद्रीय पुस्तकालय भवन का शिलान्यास शुक्रवार को कुलपति प्रो. एके बख्शी ने किया। वैदिक मंत्रोच्चार के बीच भूमि पूजन हुआ और कुलपति ने नींव का पहला पत्थर रखा। इस दो मंजिला पुस्तकालय भवन का निर्माण दूरस्थ शिक्षा परिषद, नई दिल्ली की ओर से मिले अनुदान से कराया जा रहा है जबकि कार्यदायी संस्था उत्तर प्रदेश राजकीय निर्माण निगम, कौशांबी इकाई, इलाहाबाद है। इस अवसर पर रजिस्ट्रार डॉ. एके सिंह, पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष डॉ. टीएन दुबे, प्रो. एसपी गुप्ता, डॉ. एमएन सिंह, डॉ. पीपी दुबे, डॉ. ओमजी गुप्ता और विवि के शिक्षक व कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।
